So, which is it? Pih-CON, PEE-can or pee-CON? Whichever it is, I wanna pie too.
Pecan is pronounced just like "peekin' ". Chestnut is pronounced "chesnit".

I would like it to be known that on this day Pinky made a grammatical/spelling error on the Facebook.
The Mayans were one year off apparently.
You're just wrong. Lol
No, I disproved your basis of geographical pronunciation with scientific evidence.
Now I would attribute said study results to immigration and emigration, but unfortunately for your statement we're not in 1861 anymore.
Well, ain't that just a geographical oddity? This reminds me to go watch Oh Bother Where Art Thou tonight on the DVR. :hehe:
"Two weeks from everywhere".
You're definitely going to mess up your grammar. They're going over there to their house. Facebook's effects may affect your ability to concentrate. Irregardless is definitely, positively not a word. I know that no one is going to mess this up. I'd rather be hanging out with friends than go to work. Then I'm going to the game. I wouldn't want to lose my dog and then have to post a sign that it's on the loose. It's could've, not "could of." Its called a contraction. Use it or spell out both words. I would like to complement my use of compliments by also adding in flattery. My high school principal used his principles when determining school rules.
The misuse of proper grammar on Facebook is absolutely egregious. When you use bad grammar trying to make a point or complain about something in a post, it just makes you sound uneducated, ignorant, and detracts from you being taken seriously. That's my soapbox of the day, I'm done.
hey man btw...i want to return that belt ya sent me cuz it doesnt squeak when the truck shuts off....wassup wit dat
That's not a bad thing :rockwoot:
