Yup. LOL

It stuck on heat when they first installed it in 2006 too. It ran all weekend. The house was 106 inside and all our candles melted. Some Rookie wired the HVAC system. He failed.

The department that put out the warrant is a town department. The town is 6000 people. The department doesn't have a chief. The department has no email. The department has a fax, but doesn't know the number... The court clerk, that the department told me to call, is married to one of the captains for the department. When I called her she said she'd call her husband and find out what I needed to do...

I got fed up with that and called the DA. He wasn't in, but they connected me to the sherrif, don't know why. The sherrif gave me the number for the town mayor, said to complain to him and he'd get things moving.

Lol...

One of the cops at the department actually told me... "Well if this ain't you and you ain't never been to Mississippi, then just stay outa Mississippi and you'll be fine."
 
And apparently this whole thing started because someone allegedly saw me (my dad) kick somebody's door in at a Walmart then walk into the store.

So... The police came and took pictures of his truck in the Walmart Parkin lot while he was in the store. Didn't bother themselves with waiting at his truck for him to come out if the store, just looked up his registration. His truck is registered in TN still apparently.

So when they got his name from the registration, (same as my name) and looked it up in TN drivers license database, they got my drivers license, and fired out a warrant for me.

Pretty awesome police work.

I'm 5' 11" / 215# and 32 years old. He's 60something, 5' 6" / 225ish.

I asked the cops if they showed my license picture to the "witness." They never answered.

Well, it's Mississippi... :hehe: I can tell you, this does not surprise me at all; they are a special group there. I am glad to hear it's all worked out. Is your dad in hot water, or did they just make it all go away?

My favorite moments were bein told to "just stay outa MS." And "We have a fax but I ain't sure on the number."

And I honestly don't care if my Dad is in any hot water. He has a warrant in CO too... That one is for punching somebody's car window out while they were driving down the road while he was on his motor cycle.

I about shot the old dog this morning. I told her "outside" and all she did was play peek-a-boo and ring-around-da-rosie with all my tools in the shop. I'm kinda sick today and fell like hell. I'm not in the mood for crap. She's lucky I didn't want to wake the kids up at 5:30am. A few quick whacks with the cattle sortin' stick and she changed her mind.

Nacho woke me up at 2, 3, and 4am; shooting out from under the covers and straight into my face. Why? I have no idea. I almost threw her across the room! LOL
