Whats everyone think? Good bad don't care?

it is great for the sport , we'll now get in with the big time sponsers and TV coverage.

Anyone that pulls this class should go to the brown county (ohio) pull on the 22. They are having a preliminary class there and will discuss specifics on the rules.

Chris, you going? Can you report back for us on what was said for those of us not able to make it?

I'm goint to try to go. I'll let everyone know what goes on. I have to say that i'm not overly enthusiastic about it though, given how we have been treated by the NTPA and some of it's members in the past. Seems like they are reaching in the dark to bring some new found popularity to their organization.

As far as im concerned NTPA can stick it! They dont care about pullers,,, and something about dealing with a bank company.

Hopefully the new class will get some TV coverage on RFD network

re

Jerrod let us know what you find out I am interested.I know of a couple guys wanting this type of class.Chris If you make it to the meeting, let us know what your impression is.

will be there thursday pullin, and i think its a great idea, how many of you that bad mouth the ntpa actually ever ran there circuit???? but it doesnt matter how many sanctions allow us in if we all dont pick one to run with they wont keep the class long cause there so few of them trucks out there! BOWLING GREEN HERE WE COME!!!!!!

It will be interesting to see how long ntpa/wpi is around hell they dont even have OSTPA anymore

ya but NTPA is alot stronger bigger and better organized and had better people in the office then ATPA and OSTPA not saying there perfect but they do a great job promoting and bringing in big sponorships for the sport of pullin!

if they are so big and strong why did the go bankrupt years ago and could not repay a loan they had from WPI?

I think it should be good for the sport, due to the amount of new fans that will be exposed to diesel trucks.

I wonder if this will be a class that will pull at Louisville, during the Farm Machinery Show? That would be a huge audience!

Doubtful on the NFMS, that's not a NTPA pull and those guys are pretty set in there ways. This deal with the NTPA will be interesting. I guess my question is why does a organization that has 12 Grand National divisions need to keep adding divisions? Let alone add 3 classes in one year?

Very interesting for sure! The only rule I have always questioned and is a big one for me is wheel base...Why are all the mod classes at 158"? Sucks for me because my truck is 172" which is the length for a stock Chevy Crew-Cab Dually and I think the Fords are even longer.
