New to me Liberty CRD

Update, William got back with me this morning and got me registered. Apparently, the woman that used to run it has lost interest in it.

Can you get his email address for me? I ditched FB about 3 months ago.

I did message the admin email address on LOST Jeeps. But haven’t heard back yet.

What is your username and email you used for the site? He said he will check on your registration.

Got all set up in LOST Jeep. Been doing some crusin’ while in the tree stand, seems like a bunch of knowledge there. Seems to be a little better than the Jeep KJ forum I found.

IDparts is a great source for parts.

Was able to pick up a timing belt tool kit from a member on LOST Jeeps for half the price of new! Guess he sold his CRD and was selling all his left overs.

Yeah, I didn't know **** about these things and ours needed a lot of work. That site has a lot of good info. There is also a guy out of Florida that only works on these CRD Jeeps. His name is Jim Hulse, he travels the country working on them, and he is on the CRD page on Facebook. He has helped me out with a few problems as well.

Ha ha me either really. But it’s all nuts and bolts, like the thousands we’ve all loosened and tightened. Little bit of common sense and double checking and they can’t be different than anything else I’ve worked on.

After 3 moths of waiting for parts, sitting on Jack stands, the CRD Liberty is back on 4 tires.

Have some minor tinkering to do yet, but overall very happy. Rides good. Drives good. Needs an alignment ASAP.

I know Sasquatch Diesel has an intake fuel pump for these Jeeps that uses a Cummins fuel pump. Anyone ever use an external pump and filter set up on these Jeeps?

Thats great! What all did you do to it?

Nothing to crazy. A 3" lift with new struts, springs (front and rear) upper control arms and 265/70R16 tires.

Had the whole front end apart, put all new busings in the lower control arm, new moog ball joints, drag links. and hubs. Pretty much rebuilt the whole front end when all said and done.

Been driving great. Thinking about doing the timing belt and top end work that is suggested. Need to get some gasser axles to get 4.10 gears. I think it would drive much better, with the big tires.
