I drilled out a spare set of injector tube's I had to .098 and left the edge filter out. It loped when I started it up but the first time I revved it up it stopped loping and runs normal.:bang Why is there no lope do I need to drill them out bigger

Mine lopes only when it warms up to operating temp. It might just a lil then quit when it starts. but I have HRVP, .093, 150 sticks. i also have a maxspool cam but dont know if that really makes a differance

I have stock vp*bdh*, mach 7.5, helix 2 cam. I'm going to drill them out to .109 tomorrow.

One of my friends has a HRVP from Industrial, Edge Comp, 150 Edge nozzles, bigger connector tubes, and oversized injector lines. It lopes like crazy. If i remember right his didnt lope until he put bigger lines on it.

ive heard that if you go any bigger than .098 on a vp truck it wont run right

you need bigger lines like stated---mine loped, but then would smooth out and then lope and smooth out---this was with .093 lines and.093 crossovers and mach 7's---when the #6 .093 line blew apart and I put the stock lines back on it the lope left-----with my 7x25's there was no lope---HRVP, Helix 2 cam, bullydog valve springs and no box on.....

also with .093 lines and stock crossovers the truck didn't like to stay running every time I came to a stop sign or light---this was with mach 7's....I believe it loped, but this was some time ago and don't recall......chris

nothing like killing the performance and efficiency of an already HP handicapped vp44 truck to make it sound bigger and badder than it is

LOL

Mine loped with Jammer 4 sticks but only after it warmed up to normal operating temp. That was with a stock HO pump. As far as "proven" I've yet to see side by side dyno runs with and without, but I had no real "seat of pants" feel that told me they were worth it. Trying to back a loaded trailer with the dang think loping all over the place sucked major balz. I took them out.

HRVP for a cool sound. Mine didnt really lope, it had kind of a chop to it. It sounded wicked idleing a 1100. This also happens to be the rpm you get after tapeing a folded-over Orbitz box lid between the throttle lever and tps bracket.

i cant justify a $2700 pump thats had very few trucks show results with all but one of them being less hp than i've already put down.

take a pair of vise grips and pinch one or two of your injection lines almost all the way shut. it oughta lope pretty good then!

That or clog a couple of injectors up. That'll get it to lope. Don't ask how I know.

Why do you want it to lope????? What is going to be the achievement of this and what gains is it going to give you?

If the guy wants it to lope, cool. Personally, I wouldn't live with that goofey crap.
