Yea i just dont see the significance of just trying to get it to lope so you start drilling everything out yourself, i would just do a pump and get it done with. Unless its helping you out in performance wise, well i guess it could be a intimidation thing but that just brings it back to what GET BLOWN said.
 
3 years ago when i first started getting into this stuff, all i wanted was alot of smoke and a nasty sounding lope at idle and everyone would be impressed by my truck...

now a days i want it to sound and look like any other dodge with a single stack, but when it comes to life thats when it starts to get attention.

last week i had a turbo 240sx trying to race me on the highway, i was around 2200rpms, with the stack it sounds like its wound out, and this guy was playing around all cocky like he knew he would wax me. thats when i let her fly all the way to 4k rpms in 5th gear and waxed his arse to the point where they came by and gave me a very puzzled look :D

you swap those APPS yet?

and my truck is very tame with the box off, and up to 2700 rpms with a soft foot. it gets wild tho when i turn the box up and let her rip. it has a lack of traction in most gears

Nope. Gonna swap it tomorrow and test on my road trip this weekend to my parents. Hopefully your old one won't leave me on the highway! :D I'm taking last Friday's holiday hours off this Friday. I've spent the week building a railing for our staircase so the kid doesn't fall and break her head. Tomorrow I'm also starting a goosneck hitch and fold-over boom for my big truck.

Back to your regularly scheduled program...

keep your old one with you...but i doubt it will leave you stranded if it did act up...it cuts out for a second or two. i take it out of gear, hit the pedal a few times and it comes right back.

I am going to get a pump in the near future, monster or Scheid's. On both pumps you are recommended to run bigger lines and tubes.

My truck with "goofey crap" will out run and out pull your truck any day:kick:
 
Im probably faster. That lift and big tires and low power is a killa. I guess it isn't nice to pick on the weak...:hehe:
 
I'm picking on myself. This is getting ridiculous. I'm actually in the running for the 350hp class on the next dyno day. LOL
