I have a 97 that had no radio when I got it. So I hooked one up and got nothing. Seems to not be getting power. So I tried another, still no go. Checked fuse. And ideas where to look for the problem? No radio is killing me

You using an adapter harness? Your radio needs 2 power wires to work, one switched A+ and one constant A+. Id start there and trace backwards :)

Did you just visually check the fuse or use a meter? Suggest a meter if you can or replace with a new fuse.

Most head units have 2 power wires; constant and switched. Radio won't come on without both. Again, a voltmeter will be a great help for you.

Typcally if you have an adapter, Yellow is Battery+ and always on. This is for station memory. The Red is IGN+, or switched with your acc on the key. Both are required along with a ground. Check these three. All others are negligible until you get it to turn on and light up.
