I have a 12v that just refuses to start. The fuel was gelled. I pulled off every hose that carries fuel and cleaned them. I also pulled the injectors and they all spray. Put my new dv in and made shore the plungers were working on the pump. The airdog is feeding perfectly to the pump. The pump is feeding all the way to the injector but still nothing. It will run on either witch I hate using. Please give me sum ideas???

12v no start

I had the fuel gell on me is the reason I think. I cleaned all lines that carrie fuel, new fuel filters, drained the tank, pulled the injectors an they still spray. I also put my new dv in and made shore the plungers were working in the pump. The airdog is suppling fuel yo the pump and the pump is puting fuel threw the lines to the injectors. It will run on either witch I hate using. Im stuck help please

Bump!! Give me any kind of ideas even if u think its dumb. I have tryed everything.

If it'll run on starting fluid it'll run on diesel. You must have fueling problems. Your certain that your getting fuel to the injector by cracking the 19mm line correct?

The shut off selinoid is taken off and that lever is wired all the way forward so it ant that. I cracked all lines that go to the top of the injector. 19mm you are refering to is that the line on the side of the injector. I also have adjusted the valves and checked pump timing. They are all in spec.

When you try to start it put the throttle half way to advance the rack, this will help it flow through the pump

I have been doing that. I have checked every injector 1 buy 1 breaking each line loss and cranking it over and checking. Every single time I see fuel come out of the line.

Yes I have a full tank.

Have you tried given it just a tiny sniff of ether to see if it'll take off?

Becareful here!

Are you sure you put the DV's in right? Put all the parts back in the pump that you took out? Gelled fuel can be taken care of with a bullet heater under the truck with a tarp over the engine. This doesnt sound like a feul gel issue

I put the new dv in because I had them and been waiting to put them in. Th ey are in corectly. The truck now sits in a heated garage with all lines cleaned. I think gelled fuel is out of the picture. I do think the gelled fuel trashed the injectors. If us either it will run but only while I spray it. Im droping in a new set of injectors tomorrow. Im Gona be pissed if they are the injectors. I got them on here.

I'd try the stock dv's first. After you open it back up u might find an oops. If not put the stock back in and try it. Easy 15 minutes to isolate the injectors. 12v injectors can take a beating. It's possible the gelling caused a needle to stick because of no lubrication. It's very unluckily IMO though.

Well the only reason I took out the stock dv was because they were sticking and kind of tight. I have done everything in the book and the injectors are the biggest suspect. Since it will only run on either.

I swaped in the stock injectors and she fired right up. So my only gess is the bodies of the injectors were full of sh!t. There is a loss of 400$ on them 5x.014. Thank god a vendor on here owes me some $ haha.
