Hello. I tune a Mercedes OM605 engine and goal is 200hp/ltr.

I rev it 6500rpm but it dosent get enough time to burn.

Can nos help this problem?

Not wery good english, hope you can read.

it will help. Increasing the injection timing will help a lot. this will inject the fuel earlier and give it longer to burn

Hi. Cant increace timing, no have 46 degrees. If i advance more timing, prechambers broke.

sounds like you have the car on the razor's edge!

I would like to hear the rest of your combination
2.5ltr 20v 5syl diesel.
Custom made exhaust manifold
Custom made intake manifold.
Ported sylinder head with bigger valves.
Original prechambers. Modded coming.
Original cams. Modded coming.
170cm3 ip pump with modded advance timing device
Master Power turbo. Compressor 65mm and turbine 69mm
Balanced bottom end.

Now it has 466hp/662nm at 2,5bar boost

I need one for my fairmont! what transmission do you have behind it?

Four original 4-speed has broken. Now it has an ambulance 5speed transmission.

Little update is coming in sylinderhead.
Hydr lifters replace mechanical.

About that timing. Pump is 16 degrees before and advancer engrece that so when rpm are around 5500rpm is 46 degrees. If we go over 50 degrees then brechamber start broke.

Now power start drop at 5900rpm so thats why i think that NOS.

That's a sweet project. Start the nitrous off pretty small- .017 or .020" jet should be noticeable on that engine.

I would LOVE something like this in my fairmont... unfortunately a petrol mill will be the only affordable way to make any real power for me.

I'm guessing this car would weigh right at 2,900lbs with the iron headed Mercedes and 5sp... would be a blast with 400 diesel fueled horsepower :o

If you could figure out how to build that mechanical advance device to fit a P-7100 pump as used on the 5.9 Cummins, you could make a few dollars.

The engine looks great! What you gents can do with the Merc diesels is outstanding.

Holy sleeper batman!

Thanks for sharing your work with us. I always love seeing what can be done with cool european diesels.

If I ever happen to be in europe, I'll happily buy you a round of :Cheer:

Hi. When i get injection pump back on work shop i go last time dyno in original cam s. Then i chance those own desing cams and mechanical lifters and adjustable cam wheel.

Here is that 466hp dyno vid

That thing has GOT to be a blast to drive! :rockwoot:

.

New 170 injection pump, adjustable cam wheel, modified pre chambers and modified advance device has installed. Next sunday we see how much it pulls on dyno.

New cam profile is ready so i wait when i got machined cams on car.

I m thinking to go back compound setup. My gurrent turbo has 65mm kompressor and 69mm turbinewheel 85lbs/ 3pressure ratio.

Dont know for sure what size little turbo is good. Thinking 44mm billet kompressor and 49,4mm turbinewheel.

Ps. Dynod 477hp

Not very far from your goal of 200hp per liter! :rockwoot: Was that with nitrous?
