NOS. Help burn diesel at high rpm

Didint find edit button, so i post again. Sorry.

I make new alda on injection pump, because original is fully open at 1bar boost.
Now i can tune my self when its fully open.

Here is some photos what i do before that 477 dyno

Transfer pump

New fuel filter and leg

And on dyno

Nice build! I cant wait to see you meet your goal I bet its a fun ride. How reliable has it been you with the current setup?

Hi and thanks. This engine is build N/A engine. i but just h-profil rods in.
It tidint last high rpm because N/A has weak piston pins.

Now i change original tbo rods and pistons and balanched moving parts.
It s been now reliable, but never know when it blow up :hehe:

If it makes you feel any better, the really hot motors on this side of the pond do the same thing LOL

Really nice project!
NOS will give more oxygen but won't let the fuel burn much faster.
You need to inject the fuel faster (bigger nozzle or pump) than it will burn a bit faster.
But for really high rpm normal diesel isn't good enough.
You can try some kind of high centane race diesel to see if it will do better at high rpm.
What CR do you run?
If you lower CR you can use more timing advance without get to much PCP and blow your precamber out of the head ;-)

Don't you use any coolingfans for the car on the dyno?
What IAT does it make on the dyno?

Johan

It has Bosch Pes5m injection pump with 7mm elements.
Now timing is 20 BTDC.

There is coolingfan

Can't you put in 10 mm's from a A-pump?
Or complete A pump.
Have you got bigger nozzles?

Ok, i didn't see the fan :)

Johan

Do you plan to take the car to the track when it's done? I'm curious to see what kinda times that thing can churn out.

.

Why 10mm?
I have original nozzles.

Because when you can inject the same amount of fuel in a shorter injection window the power will go up and EGT will go down.
I would try some bigger injectors in your car.
It's amazing the stock injectors can make so much power allready.

Yes thats true. This pump is cost enough for me so i go for this.
Next step is 8mm what can install on this pump.

This updated pump turbo backpressure trop and egt is little higher.

Dont know where find bigger nozzles this prechamber engine. i think at those flow that what pump gives.
