Mixture?
If you mean a meth blend, it's a different ball of wax... though Indy cars used to inject raw fuel into the X manifold to develop more drive HP coming out of turns.

Yes, it's hard on turbochargers.

Injecting fuel makes sense. And if it were metered well, and burned half-assed it wouldn't necessarily be hard on the charger. You're just skipping the piston engine and going straight to gas-turbine technology.

But now, without any kind of combustor, I don't see it helping with initial spool when everything is "cold" and exhaust gas flow is extremely low. I would expect nothing more than white smoke out the exhaust and a turbo that wouldn't spool for sh*t.

so what psi would you inject at? if your using the water/meth to spool the turbo, then it hasnt made much boost yet. correct? can you spray too soon or too late??

if you bumped up the mixture to a 60/40 or a 70/30 would you loose less thermodynamic energy <---???? (heat energy)? or would you loose dp by creating less steam?

will it damage the exhaust or turbo??

Oh gawd, put the thought out of your head, spraying water/meth into the exaust is going to do nothing for you.

The only way you could effect spool, is with a small pre-presured boiler, that has no place on our engines.

Same deal as anti lag on the step above the ricers, rich up the exaust and light it off in the manifold, the turbos love it.

Bingo....watch the pullers hit the water too soon, stuffs it out.

No if I can only figure out how to multi-quote after the fact.....:bang

What could you inject in the exhaust to make it spool better? Gas, methonal, diesel, or nitro?

Will there be fire out the exhaust? If so im sold.

Oh yes, I remember. The "water into the exhaust" idea required one to heat the water first.
