Officially a 1st gen guy... (pics ITT)

put a new dash in this weekend. Kind of a tricky job, but I learned a lot.

pull the windshield, access all the screws (about 100 of them) and a little while later it was out. I got a good one out of a '90, and painted it with trim paint. I also took the opportunity to seal up all the ac ducts, and do a little cleaning.

It was worth the end result, but all the little stuff can hang you up from time to time.

I polished the scratches out of the instrument cluster, sealed up the ac ducts, cleaned up all the dirt and grime, etc.

the windshield had to come out too.
 
Did you crank the timing up, I bet you can crack 20 mpg if you do! I wish I still had my '93 dually as a tow rig!
