This has happened twice in the last few weeks...

I'll jump in the truck in the morning headed to work, back out of the driveway, and start up the hill... I get a dead pedal for 100 yards or so, then the truck picks up RPM(slowly) and it is fine after that. I can toss it into neutral, and the truck revs up like normal during this time. I'm getting the obligatory 1693 and 1694, and I also have a 1764 code because I run stupid ass line pressure...

I'm thinking the TPS is chitting the bed.

hate to say it but when mine would do that it was the vp...would rev fine, but put it in gear and try to go and it was like driving a 3 cyl geo metro towing a dumptruck. then all the sudden it would just pop and take off.

Try changing just the apps. It's ally cheaper than buying the whole bellcrank assembly. Just make sure you set the voltage correctly.

So much for buying the baby ANYTHING LOL shiiiiiiiitt!! Sounds like your pump

Where can you buy just the apps?

There's a guy on DTR that sells just the sensor for about $160 direct. I have used a few of them and seem to work well, The only aftermarket one I know of. I'll try to find his info

Less than a year should be warranty. Right?

The wire was tapped before the pump went on..... I rarely ever turn the fuel box on......

Damn Damn Damn.......

Guess I better find a P-Pump. Screw this ghey silly ass VP Crap

Were you by chance running a redline stack at the time TJ?

check your apps voltage.. if its in good shape, id borrow a friends and see if that helps. if not, sounds like itll be pump swappin time!

Well, I was telling The Jeff what was going on and he thinks my Blue box may be pissing off some MAP readings to the ECM- this has been an issue in another stack I was running, so I'm gonna unplug the BlueChip from the Map Sensor and see if that helps before I go swapping crap.
