sweet dood ! that design with some possible tweaks looks like it would work well on the third gen too. Maybe you can rethink the 3rd gen design ?? You'll sure get rid of some length.

It looks good from the side view. ...and how low is my truck, well the rear section of my driveshaft angles up to the axle HAHAH (and yes, pinion angle is correct).

Looks good! Most pulling organizations are gonna want all the u-joints covered and not just at the rear end.
