Whats the difference between a point race and an Outlaw race?

A points race is just that, a points race. An Outlaw Race is a fun race, no points, no records, just fun. The NC Outlaw race will be at Piedmont Dragway Sponsored by Jet Hot Coatings. They are having a Dyno and BBQ at the plant on Friday and Saturday we race.

OBX is put on by Jeess and Buck Spruil ..... If memory serves me they are having that race June 20th.

That's correct! I'll be there. Its asham you guys aren't having the nc race as a points race this year...kinda makes it seem pointless to attend. Will u have a big payout there? or something as an incentive for people to show up?
