oversized connector tubes or drill em out

Ahh. Missed the part about it not being a special. Either way though, the pump is dead and the stock tubes are just fine.

I am agreeing with the pump as well. Leave the tubes alone, and I would go with the HR!

You will be suprised what just that Super B will do as well!

Drill them yourself it will make it lope. The edge filter keeps the fuel from pulsatin from the injection pump. I have drilled them before not hard at all just take ur time. Makes them sound cool though

the hrvp reasoning was only 200 more than the so pump..both brand new in the box i can geta hrvp from 3 diff places here for under 1500 shipped. a brand new so from midwest is 1200 + shipping and a core so i figured id go with the hr

im also thinkin the pump must be toast. thats my direction next ..god help me if it dont fix it..i do think the inj might be a bit small but it tows well with these and i bought em brand new. the turbo oughtta make me 375-400 ya think ....been a long running issue i cant reall get to the btm of w/o dropping 1500 bucks...kinda blows just to take a chance since it might not fix it..thanks for the help tho guys i sure do need it
gary

ha...if it hit 400 i think id pee my pants...my truk runs great it just doesnt make any numbers....odd...not having much luck figurin it out

That's because your injection pump is dead. Replace the pump and your gonna be over 400hp.

Save the $200 on the HRVP and the $240 on the connector tubes (if your still planning on getting those) and put that money towards bigger injectors. And if your not thinking bout the tubes, save the $200 on the HRVP anyways. It'll make the exact same power as an SO pump with a wire tap box and you won't have to deal with a lopey idle and you'll have an extra $200 in your pocket.

got some used tubes for 50 bucks..and i can swap back if i dont like em so cool...
midwest so pump for me then ya think....i can get an ii hrvp for 1500 shipped or about 1350 for the midwest one. but if it aint worth the cash then ill get the so like ya said..bigger inj like a 150 gonna still be able to tow heavy ****

heavy is 30 ft toyhauler to camp..bout 10k i guess with all 3 quads and loaded of liquids. the heavy stuff is cattle feed. usually leave outta the mill bout 22k give or take..gross now...
then theres the tractor..bout 18k plus the truk and triple axle 25 ft gooseneck

i guess its heavy..right now i can just reem it if i want and it rolls good but not too high egts. truk feels good and pulls good but mileage is horrible and makes no dyno power. also ran a 16.0 at 82 mph in the 1/4..piss poor
