p-pump 24 valve build and i have some questions

Rod choice really won't matter
De-lip the SO pistons and flycut 0.080" deep
0.084" lines stock connector tubes w/filters removed
80/92mm primary T6 1.10AR housing
Put the cam on a 98* ICL
Forget 6K RPM
 
.080 is all you should go. I went with a 200/220 cam for my puller(auto) and cut .080 valve relief. I have .070 piston to valve clearance. that's with a standard head gasket and the head was decked.
