Back in January (2015) I was up in the mountains, went to start my truck it went into 3cyl high idle like normal but spit and stuttered as I got back into the cabin then went to a normal idle. finally went back to it and had a code 1688 and tps code. Some how I made it home (300 miles)and the still running alright, bought a tps and bluechip pump but the new pump ran worse barley idle. Bluechip had me try and known good ECM which wasn't the problem. So with still having my original pump I through that back in, truck ran good with no codes (so i return the new pump), untill two weeks ago. Driving down the road truck dies and wont start, again being the 1688 code. So my question now can I do any test on why this is happening or do you guys have any ideas on what could be going on or is it just a vp44 problem?
