I just got a box through a trade, the guy who traded it to me said it had a Larry Brown race tune on it for a 11.9 truck. My truck isnt as modded as his should I send it in and get a different tune put on it?

It is most likely the race module, depending on what you are doing with the truck decides the fact of what needs to be done to it. Is it a daily driver?

If the truck isn't trying to put down very serious power, race module is too much, normal programming in best. You can call into our tech dept and speak with Whitney, she will be glad to help you at no cost.
