Heres some pics of the new engine i have been slowly working on. I am still running the 160 pump timed and set the same as before i took it apart. I will snap pics a i go together with the rest of it. I did make a few internal changes while it was out. :evil.... Cam, 24v tappets, pistons (modified), studs mains and 625 head studs, head p/p, full cam bearings, valve springs, retainers, locks, pushtubes. Fully ballanced with a fluid damper. Hope it will run!

Looks good Brad, should be a screamer! :rockwoot:

What's up with the red rags? Don't ya hate how much lint they leave on everything?? :bang

are you running twins again? or a big single. i see the manafold is not flipped.

When I make something for myself, I usually make extras and give one to Brad. I can't wait to see mine. Hopefully he painted it black though.

Looks good Brad. Was the old motor tired, or did you just want to freshen it up and make some changes?

Eric

I think he said that the old motor was fine but it did have a little extra blow by, maybe the 700+ Hp on stock internals with 250K+ miles had something to do with it!

These Cummins motors are just amazing!

Heres a few more pics.

You have a Storm block (two turbo oil return holes) , but you use only one hole for twins?

Why?

The original engine wasn't a storm block and i already had the drain built. Works great with no issues at all.
