pics of painted valve cover

The 24V VC's are thick enough to mill all the ridges/letters off to make it smooth, thats how I did mine.
 
Where did you guys get the 24V CUMMINS Valve cover.. like the one hummin cummins has?

About the same as the one above that is powder coated.

i wonder what it would look like if you sanded it all down to clean metal and then just clear coated it

I got mine at cummins crosspoint dealer in Indianapolis In.
You have to make sure you get the right one because the oil fills are in the rear on some of them.
 
MAXTORQ probably already posted some pics somewhere of my covers he made. But here they are anyways. 6061 billet aluminum and they clear w/o grinding.

Do you have a part number or somethin? I gotta take one of your firetrucks to a dealership to get some warranty work done, I'll just order it up while i'm there.
 
i will have to find some of the pics of ones i have done...i think coon smile has pics posted of the one i did for him. I will have to work on getting pics of mine.
 
That red is freakin sweet!! Anyone done there's in white? If so how hard is it to keep clean? And how much to get the injector lines powder coated?
