Pics of your hoods

Id like to get just a plane 2" cowl hood some day. Nice trucks guys they all look great!!:rockwoot:

I think those are Fugly for whatever reason.. I like the cowl induction ones though, like 1-2" tall..

I think you are crazy.:hehe: That hood looks sweet Hammer! I was gonna do that hood on my truck, but there are too many Dodges like mine sporting that hood locally. I'll have to get a pic of my hood & post it up. I got it painted & I'm heading to the garage now to hit it with some swirl remover & I'll take some pics.

Hmmm...
Hey Nate...
The hood then would fit the owner perfectly as he is on the fugly side as well..LOL.The original Reflexxion Cowl like seen on the Grey and Blue trucks in this thread are the standard 3" cowl.

TurboMatt's hood is the fiberglass 4" that a couple years ago the company(and its name escapes me also) was selling at alot of truck show venues. They are definitely different due to their height but their quality of fit was very poor and I have not seen them around in a few years. One of my M-D TDC members actually bought one for his dually he had at the time.He had about 30hrs of paint and fit work on it just to make it fit close.

See now its just the opposite out here with hoods. There are a HUGE amount of the fiberglass hoods like yours due to them being sold at the annual "Chrysler's At Carlisle" show. The vendor who makes them(and their name escapes me now also)sells the Cuda style and a few others for our Dodges but once again their fit is questionable.I know people who took theirs back to them for other hoods the fit was so screwed up.The one you have painted looks very good and I will wait and see how the entire project comes out as I know its a big job.Keep up the good work.

When choosing the hood I went with what I seen as I criss-crossed the country at truck shows.I had seen many fiberglass cowls, some good and some bad, some steel cowls and the Suncoast WS6 Ram Air hoods.I REALLY liked the Suncoast hood in the photo UNTIL I seen one on a Dodge and then I decided that a GM style scoop had zero business being on my Dodge. That left me with a Steel Reflexxion or a fiberglass Cervini.Cervini has the absolute hands down best fiberglass hood out there for our trucks.Their fit is very good and their craftsmanship is even better.Knowing that my truck is a street daily driver I decided on the steel one and the Viper type due to how infrequently I seen it at shows plus I got it a a very good price as it was a second.I do like the final outcome and need a better shot of it in the sun but I am very happy with the look......Andy

I'm happy with my look but the Relexxion metal is awful thin and fragile. My vote would be factory viper style or anything else that comes from Dodge.

I don't have any hood pics, but I have a pic of some guys from the hood.:what:

Thanks. I've never been to the Chryslers at Carlisle show. I'm a Chevy guy at heart, My brother has a 72 Chevelle SS & I have a 64 Impala SS. We've been to Carlisle many times buying parts for them, but no Chrysler shows.
