Posting for a friend

Hi guys, a friend of mine has a 99 dodge 24v cummins, and is wanting advice on a tuner. He currently has mild transmission work done, exhaust, intake...in other words all the beginner bolt ons. The most common tuner for the dodge I'm assuming is the smarty...but what would his best option be? I'm a ford guy, so forgive the ignorance.

Smarty for a vp truck isn't nearly as good on power as it is for the new common rails. I would say look in to a Quadzilla adrenaline or even a edge comp box. Honestly their all pretty good it just depends on how much he's wanting out of it.
