Around sw Missouri I'd guess the top 2.5 trucks are around 800

At the diesel truck series pull in TN. A stock APPEARING charger Duramax put almost 20ft on some good running 2.5 trucks.

Do they check the turbos with a plug? Was his not plugged since it was "stock appearing" or did it still meet the plug check?? The shops that mod those chargers can cram 72mm wheels (or maybe larger?) into the stock comp. housing and if they also do work on the exhaust side, that can be a enough charger for a lot of power!
 
No plug check since it was stock appearing. Yeah it is the Danville 72mm but still would think the top s-400 2.5Chargers would outflow it.

Is WS factory stock chargers or stock appearing? I'd like to assume stock appearing?
 
^^^ depends on the rules for that organization but most are stock appearing, however from what I've seen most organizations are pushing work stock and 2.5 together

Stock appearing. I organize our local circuit and had to argue for 2 days with the techs before they finally gave in because they had a set of rules in their head and I told them they made them too bland and with too much grey area and I don't even pull the workstock class! Lots of duramaxes running 68's and 72's in their Cheetah's. IMO workstock is the most out of control class there is. I would love to see what Wisconsin did and make everybody go to a box stock charger for their 2.5 class and add an oem unmodified compressor housing for workstock. No fancy wheels or anything.

I'm trying to get my brother to back down to a 2.5 charger. This 467 on his dually is really limiting his pull options. Hoping to keep it around 700-750 at the wheels and make up for difference with a good suspension.
 
With s400 max and 64mm limited inducer size, whats a good turbo to run? Ive been using a s464.
