should i go with 191's? thanks for the input. this is the kind of stuff im lookin for. ive not messed with ppumps too much. had 2 vp trucks and im looking for any input and advice. just want to learn from all the other guys ppump swap experience's ya know. hear about what road blocks they hit and what the fix's were.
I like 191s better over 0.24s and I know full cuts will be way to much. Your old injectors and 191s and a 215 pump are way to much, the 191s in the 160 still had a lot of fuel more than enough for a 64/71

well.. i decided to go ahead and put a cam in. ive been talkin with zach hamilton alot and we agree'd on a deal. so i should have a hamilton cam heading this way in a week or so to go with my hamilton springs and rods. any other advice or tips would be fantastic. thanks.
ok.. so im gonna be starting this conversion in a few weeks when i get home from school and have a few quesitons. what do i do with all the electronics from the vp and what not? ive read that the ecm has to be relocated or removed or whatever.. how can i do this conversion and not have the CEL on all the time. i dont want my dash to be lit up like a christmas tree. also.. i know that hamilton recommends running zinc additive with his cams.. im gonna buy some off him for the break in and first fresh oil change.. but i was wondering if there are any zinc additives i can buy local so i dont have to have it shipped to me everytime i need an oil change. thanks.
Ecm just gets mounted somewhere else but left plugged in. As far as the CEL lights goes just take the bulb out of the dash, its going to be on no matter what.
had a back fire on the project. guy i was getting the ppump kit from decided to keep it... so now i have no ppump kit. ok.. havin a little trouble findin the stuff.. but came up with an idea. instead of ppumping my 24v. i might be able to trade my truck the way it sits for a 12v reg cab dually. its got the following mods...Transmission built by Dans Transmission.
