there was a meeting last night at the banquet, final rule changes will be posted on PPLs website in two to three weeks

How do we get in the loop for information on the Pro Pulling League and the rules for the upcoming season? I did pay my membership for 2011 & 2012, and as it turned out my truck did not get finished for any of the pulls last year. I expected a mailing or at least an email about upcoming rules meetings. I guess not.

Does anyone know what the Silver Series is about? Is it a Champions Club light?

I think the discussion for rules has happened, at least for 2.6. I assume others. Everything I have heard is that we will get the official rules for 2013 around the beginning of December.

Can someone copy and paste the changes here for those of us who dont have facebook. Thanks.

and the MWE groove are prohibited. The vehicle driver will be responsible for making
compressor wheel accessible for tech personnel to measure bore and able to inspect

It looks like the 3.0 rules will not change. Does anyone know more about the Silver Series? It is listed on the 2013 Pro Pulling Competition License.

Usually takes place at the banquet or around that time. Banquet was a couple weeks ago.

sO DRAW BARS, hand throttles, hydro steering....... looks like a rear end and dropbox away and turbo swap from 3.0 now

Am I missing something? Here is the 2013 membership form http://media.propulling.com/pdf/2013/2013-Pro-Pulling-License.pdf . Look near the bottom of the first page. There is a regular membership, Silver Series (Lim. Pro’s, 3.0 Diesel Trucks & Super Stock Diesel Trucks), and the Champion Tour (SM2WD, PM4WD, LWSS, ULSS, 10 PRO, HRS, SMT & SF).

To me it looks like a mini Champion Tour type of deal that includes the diesel trucks. If they do that in the Midwest Series;

hand throttle and hydralic steering isnt street eighter. The 2.6 class has got way out of hand. Guys might as well just forget the 2.6 class in go to 3.0
NADM is thinking about open drive line for 2.6 I dont mind spending the money to have fun and all but some where you have to draw a line on how far your going to let things go.

2.5 won't be any cheaper, only money savings will be in less broken parts.

Hand throttle was passed as a safety precaution because no one was using a toe strap on the pedal and hyd steering was passed to keep from delaying the shows when u have driveline failures.

That is a dumb excuse! You might as well allow open driveline and eliminate the 3.0 or 2.6. If the worry is broken drivelines then allow better drivelines. Then you will have one class and that will speed up the show also. Matching the two classes except for the driveline is stupid!

I see the 2.6 class being done before long. Like said few post back a guy might as well build a 3.0 truck as to a 2.6 truck. I know guys are going to push the limits of parts. This is the reason my trucks for sale so im not dumping all my into a truck and i can put it in my business & time with my family.

dont criticize me, but what do you think if 2.6 was allowed to run a ton and a half rearend?
dont see it happening just a thought

If you were going to allow ton and a half rears then why not allow rockwells? My opinion that would still be a open rear since none of these trucks came with a say dana 110. So then your saying you can only run a dana 110. Not to mention if you wanted to get technical the F106 rear came in a ton and a half F600.
