Pulling with a 6" lift?

"area" refers to a 50 mi radius, and u do more than 1 pull at sled pulls, ever hear of drive shaft extension? And did you really tear your ACL?

I don't know if you have checked or not or if you have a rule like this up there but around here some orginizations don't allow tires over a 35". Just a thought.

I'll def check into that, every place around here has one BS rule that no other place would have!

And Yeah Im Back:rockwoot:

HOW!!!

and yes your right i hit every pull i can in our area and going as far as driving 4 hours to get to a pull is still local to me and i can count about 15 pulls a season, and some of the pulls you can only pull in one class, 35s are a big tire to spin when u have a stock 98 cummins, as far a trie size there is no rule how tall, just cant stick out passed the fender flares and have to be DOT

Stock 96 lol, there's more every year if you put in fairs, pulling associations and what not, from going to New York, New Jersey, and south of us, and figure you had 2 pulls at each place. 30 won't happen this year but eventually will. And at hardford they had some stupid rule about tire height!

Kenny, in all seriousness.... I wold worry about a transmission, drive shafts, and a dana 80 before i was talking about running 37's and lift.. competitive pulling trucks aren't lifted. and yes, most pulling associations limit a 35" tall tire.. which will fit with a leveling kit... spend your money wisely.. yes.. I'm back too!! LOL

Kenny extensions ? how are they gonna help if ur rear pinion angle is like this. / u cumquad!!!!! And ookay if u count these imagenary pulls in gummy drop land or the gummy drop forest wat r u gonna do when ur truck breaks serriously I'm soorryy but. I don't think its gonna hurt to go back to day care

i counting fairs there not 30 i would put money on it put money on that any ways
the buck-4 pulls a year
wayne count fair- 1 pull
wyoming fair- 1 pull
gds- 2 pulls
hardford- 2 pulls
Cincinnatus NY- 2 pulls
west end- 1 pull
susquana pull- 1 pull
scpa- 2 pulls a year

chicky are u sure theres a 35inch rule, because they let brian and amiss pull with there trucks b4 and thay have 37s

And no my acl is fine I'm american and ur asian. Kenny u can't stop forgetting this . Us american are a way better breed than u asians

How would the 4.88's react on the highway?

It would feel quicker, but your RPM's might run a bit high if you like to run over 65. If you are going to do a gear swap, might as well get a dana 80 while your at it. D70's don't last long pulling with smaller tires than you have now, it definitely won't last with 37's...

Oh don't get me wrong I think pulling wit a lift is better but only if u have a setup like bbd a fourlink susp so u can adjust ur rear pinion

But u have to understand his saying he wants to pul 30pulls a year wit a 6inch lift kit I would expect carnage a lot of it.

Not 30 a year this year, I'd like to build up to that, I'll just stick with the leveling kit and 35's, and yes Chickey, I am gonna build up the tranny first.

I am going to attempt pulling this year once I get the truck done and traction bars built. Just a few times though. Then again it may just be once if there is carnage lol. I also have to get another set of wheels and tires to pull with due to the 35" tire rule and I have 38's.

I would stick with the leveling kit and 35's and use the money that you were going to spend on the lift and tires and upgrade your current driveline...

That's what I'm doing now, the truck has 33" mickey thompsons with no leveling kit so I'll just put one it, and I'll probly just use a turbo off a CR to get me by some time before getting a good one,
