Pulling with automatic

gotcha, yeah I wanna put the truck n drive this year and just lock the converter right away, but not sure I can do it with 3.73 and brand new 35 sts...

i run 3rd gear on my auto and lock converter with 3:73 running 33 truxux M/T. TeddyBear has a goerend trans and 4:88 gears from what i understood last oct at Versiales ky pull. He also runs STS.

your running a 10.1 to 1 final ratio ? that'd be 37+mph at 4,000 rpm.

i got 4:10s and i can hit 3rd gear and it feels to me it kinda takes off a bit when i hit 3rd

here is my truck on a tight track at mayfeild ky. I always run drive with overdrive off, Lock converter asap. I have also have hit overdrive a time or two on a loose track.

Are you in 4 low ?
