Dynoed the truck on the 17th, made some ok numbers. But looking at my sheets peak power is only at 3k and thats with a redline. What can be done to raise the power band to higher rpm's? :bang

You might want to try an Adrenaline. The custom tuning feature allows the user to control timing, canbus fueling, and pump stretch.

If you don't like the results, you can always turn around and sell it for what you have into it, the Adrenaline is a hot item right now... easy to sell if you don't like it.

That said, you're gonna want to keep the Adrenaline after you try it.

that turbo is far from choking, its plenty big enough

but Will, you are not gonna be able to move the power up much more with any vp44. monster or not. the fact that its peaking at 3k now is only a sign that your turbo doesn't spool fast.

3k is good place to have your peak power on tight tracks tho.

Do you have a cam? They can bring the power up in the higher ranges...I've seen a Helix 2 hold power out above 4250RPM on a 12v!

3k isn't bad for a vp truck,I think I was making peak power with mine @2750 but I wasen't spinning 4k though.A cam would probably be the only thing I can think of that would help on a vp44, If I was a 12v It would be a different story.

Cam will help you, but it's still gonna come down to those pesky electronics. I've been hearing good things about the TS MVP for the VP folks. Maybe give them a call?

ive heard that head porting and a cam are relly the only ways to get it higher, and i hated my old redline the adraline + smarty hit over 4k today...... and no codes!:cheer:

Numbers

499 With no electronics, 598 with electronics. But i know that i can get more out of it!!!
