Nevermind, i was thinking about a guy that switched from rubber motor and trans mounts to all solid and snapped his transmission case.

It shouldnt be too bad, you never know it might quiet these old rattle traps down a bit.
 
There is nothing wrong with the solid engine mounts, no failures to worry about, know to drop ET's some though...:Cheer:

Nice to see your parts showed up. Make sure you keep the cam packaged up so it wont begine to rust.

Wonder how those engine mounts would hold up in a dd though?? I seen where it said not recommended for everyday use or something along those lines.

Your cage is really starting to look good! I think your paint colors are going to look fricken awsome together. Pure jealousy

These should be fine since they are more of a solid/poly mount. If coupled correctly with the right transmission mounts there should be no issue.

Gaining any ET with those mounts will be minimal if any, in the gas world you could pick up a slight increase in power since the wasted HP robbing motor flexing could actually get transfered into power especially with the old worn out rubber mounts they were replaced with.
 
more stuff came today.. ordered more stuff.. too...!!!! Its never ending.. I had the pre isnpection done on the cage by NHRA guy today all good.. rear bars going in tomorrow then finish welding and certification and then paint and padding then back together...
 
if you happen to order extra parts you can always send them my way lol. what other weight reductions you go going?

Well my buddy came and got my hood today.. starting it tomorrow...!!!! will look awesome... manifold is shipping monday or tuesday...
 
Well I started to polish my low pressure compressor cover tonight.. at least all of the ruff casting is gone except for in the middle..
