Radiator shroud fitment

Just curious if the stock superduty 99-03 7.3 radiator shroud will still fit with a 12V cummins using autoworld mounts? I've seen most either leave them off or make their own. I was assuming this is because the difference in angle or size of the fans?

Pretty sure it won't fit. I don't remember why, but it wouldn't on my brother's truck.

I didn't use AutoWorld mounts, but my fan shroud didn't come close to fitting on my swap. I'm going on 5 years or so without a shroud now and have never, ever had an overheating issue, in some pretty bad conditions....

GCW of 35k lbs, 105F ambient, AC on. Never saw over 190F on an Autometer gauge.

The only downside is that someone who doesnt know any better could stick their fingers right into the fan.... I was always going to get a piece of aluminum plate bent to cover the top of the fan and use the upper radiator support bracket bolts as a place to bolt the plate to, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
