I'm currently using a simple "headphone jack" style wire plugged into the aux port on the front of the radio and its running straight to the ipod. The truck is a 2012 dodge 2500 st model. I've been looking everywhere for a harness adapter for the back of the stock (non gps) head unit to either run rca cables or another cable that would hook into the ipod, and I can't find anything. I thought I found it, but when I got it, it wouldn't connect to the factory harness plug. I really don't like looking at the aux port with the wire hanging out of it. There has to be a cleaner way….. Does anyone have a part number for something that would clean the ipod hook-up? I don't mind if I lose the CD player option, because I never use it. Thanks guys
