Anybody sale one of these? My 01 is leaking but works fine. Dont see the need to pay for a reman if I can find new seals.

What's it leaking? Power steering fluid? If so I'm having that same problem. I need to fix mine asap but don't know where to start.

yeah, power steering fluid. Ive seen one disassembled and it fairly simple to repair if I can get the seals.
f6jbob, I dont need a vacuum pump seal kit, I need the hydro boost that mounts to the firewall.

Mine too, I just can't tell where it's going. Or where it's leaking from for that matter.

Correct that where mine is also. Right where the hydro boost mounts to the master cylinder.

Thanks for the info, keep me posted please.

Sorry, huge brain fart on me.

Mine sprays all over the drivers side suspension, frame, bottom part of the engine, basically everywhere. I have to put power steering fluid every other week. I've ruined some concete lately. My tappet cover gasket isn't helping either lol.

I can't see where the power steering is leaking due to the tappet cover leak. LOL But add PS fluid on the same interval as you.

Im adding weekly so got both you beat!:poke: Same mess here, inner fender well and frame are coated. Power steering stop leak fluid doesnt do a damn thing to help.LOL

cant get Pirate auto on the phone yet. But heres a link to the rebuild using there kit.
5.9L VP44 Cummins Hydroboost Leaks
I forgot about mopar man, I remember him from the dtr days.

That looks like it will fix mine and not that bad of a job.

I've spent enough of bars power steering stop leak and lucas power steering money back stop leak to buy a few of those kits easy.

Thanks for the link. Keep us posted!

I got my kit in I'm dreading starting, there is a lot of little seals and orings. Does not look fun at all.

Ok I started on this today. Kinda a pain to get the hydroboost out, but not terrible. You only use 2 seals from the kit. The instructions from moparman1973 were pretty complete, only a few differences.

I'm in search of the seal that goes between the master cylinder and hydroboost, mine was in 3 peices. I actually think this was the culprit but not postive. So hopefully ill be able to find one tomorrow morning.
