Redline vs fms

if you have 98 or 99 year truck they do not defuel 2000 up defuel and the only way to stop that i have use is a bd rad system that will alow you to build boost and luanch if you dont use this on 2000 up truck 2nd gen it will defuel in frist and second gear most noticable in auto truck trying to launch at the track will not build boost:kick:

manual trans. trucks do not have torque management

Ya its somthing like 500 bucks to get a fms upgraded to a redline. Thats prolly so you dont just buy a fms and have upgraded i bet.

i am not 100 percent sure but i belive that stick truck do not have tourqe mangment and also come with hx 35 from 98 to 2001 late 2000 auto trucks had smaller turbo and defuel

Does it still defuel when u turn on the drag race mode(fms)? It comes across that screen and says it has been disabled.

Yes it still defuels. The drag race mode will just dump the fuel in no matter what your boost is, on regular mode it increases fuel with boost until it starts to defuel. The redline will take over at around 2000 rpm which is why your engine light will come on cause it throws a code.
