Redneck V-Band Flange

Why would he mount it backwards rather than rotating the compressor housing?
 
Sadly, that isnt the most redneck thing Ive seen a puller do on a tractor turbo.

Ever seen one without an oil feed? They just ran grease fittings. even had a hole cut in the side panel for it. Used a hand grease gun.

Pump, start, hook, pump, pull, run to the line, pump pump pump.

I am.....I though I was a redneck, damn.

Little fat guy running down to where the sled stoped the tractor to grease the charger.

Funny as hell.
 
Now you cant bad mouth the tractor guys too bad (other than the reverse rotation thing):bang. They were setting up tractors with lots of power long before the pick up trucks came into the mainstream.
