I took the fileter housing off and there isnt enough room. Scott @ destroke was going to make me a filter by pass like his truck but it still wont clear. The number 5 cylinder tube is about 1" from the block

man, Scott's never going to finish that oil filter relo kit!

update 3/25/09

Allright. Tonight typical ran around for parts. Coater still dont have my manifold coated. He said tomorrow for sure. So I did radiator hoses, alternator(alternator was posder coated as well) and got the opie by pass all done. Now Im taking the hoses I made and getting braided done. You did think I would have those hoses left un touched

These are from my phone camera

Tomorrow...Im remounting turbo,manifold and downpipe.

Looks very cool. What are the benefits of the Opie bypass? What kind of battery tray/hold downs are those?

Allright, Got the turbo mounted with the wastegate actuator by pass. I also got the drive train all button down. This week Im doign wiring. Im redoing all the battery connections and also making sure the pedal, trans and everything is all buttoned up. Saturday Doug(stuckinmud) is coming by to do my intercooler turbes and then off to the coaters. I also decided the SBintake I bought will not be used. Im making my own. Here is the turbo mounted with the cermanic coated header and -10 oil return line. Im redoing the line with a 90degree I bought Saturday.

Thats all I have. I think the hardest thing is me making sure everything is almost perfect in my eyes. I dont feel like doing something twice.

The battery hold downs I about from Summit and are Billet specialist. I also took some Diamond plate and built a support bracket to hold them

Thats a Dam Sharp lookin Engine.. Swaps clean If I didn't know any better i'd say it came from the factory..

Not sure.....I have a little side wager with my buddy Ryan for Schieds. Plan on dynoing it with Hightechram and walley in Ohio to get it all tuned in. i first need to get it road worthy

did ryan get rid of that 6.0 yet? i seen him the other day with no lift and stock rims. he says the 6.4 is going to be super fast:hehe:.

Well I got the intercooler pipes back and last night me and Stuckinmud(Doug)worked until 2am doing some fabbing including the intake. The intake isnt bolted to the turbo just sitting there and still needs to get coated like the others. The Intake temp is underneath. We opt'd to grind the welds and sand them smooth.

Tomorrow and monday Im working some diamond plate stuff under the hood to support the Snowperformance box,MP8, 1/o streetwires fuse block and future nitrous controller. The wiring is going to look sweet when done

Here is some updates. I have a bugered up areoquipe line on the return. I am waiting on to see if Earls will have it and overnight it to my house. If no Im going a different route on that . I have a problem with the computer being locked and waiting for Bob Wagner to send me a file on monday to unlock it. I got my front end on and the intake back from powder coating. I drove to cleveland late friday night to Meet Walley at FTE. He met me at 9pm at the turnpike to get me a rail pressure gauge to rule that out...thanks Walley.

Here are some new pics

Very nice looking swap man. Thats the way to do it. Take your time and do it right the first time and do it the way you want to. Good luck.
