No.

Mr. Cole, please refrain from soliciting in the forums.

I have inquired here about becoming a Supporting Vendor, once I get the pricing information then I will say more. I do not want to violate site rules.........

Pricing will be less than current offerings from other vendors........:welcome:

As soon as the administrators here get me the information I will post more about it.

My bad, I thought we were talking about different brands of aftermarket Duramax rods, not different vendors for TTS's rods.

brnaodn.

Ideally, there will be forged rods in the future. For now, all the dmax rods are Crowers, which are billet.

We are talking about the same Crower Rods and possibly another manufacturer.......:rockwoot:

I'll post more about it as soon as the Vendor details are finalized.

Tony

this is why i do not like this vendor crap, the members who are looking for the best info do not get the best info in making a decision, anyone should be able to report their findings, just not offer a sales pitch into it

Fred we have to respect the vendors who pay to advertise here. There are others who try and plug their wares hear. That wont be tolerated!:kick: If you are interested in some information PM me. I will help any way I can. PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE !LOL One that I to run short on ! Especially waiting on potential HP.

It's the least expensive form of advertising Fred. Don't be so cheap, and just go legit.

PS - Fred, I don't care too much for your wild generalization about vendors just "giving a sales pitch". There are lots of vendors who are square shooters and will give you excellent info good or bad about products. It all comes out in the wash. If you endorse/sell a piece of dung, you'll lose your reputation.

Okay, to try and get this thread back on topic...

My exposure to this point has been pretty limited to durmax breakage, but the only one I have seen with rod problems was running a serious amount of water/meth. As Rob said earlier, he has lots of passes on his pickup, and I know for a fact it still runs well. Has anyone come up with a common trait that causes the rods to fail?

My second question is, did most of these failures start from compressing the rods (making them shorter)? I know this can be hard to tell...

Thanks, Paul

 Question: how fast does Diesel fuel burn with a single turbo @ 40lbs of boost, twins @ 60 lbs of boost?
How fast does Diesel burn with Nitrous Oxide?

If you add a different fuel like water/meth or propane, does it change the burn rate? If it did, what would be the result?

That's only part of the equation (speed of burn rate on #2 vs accelerants). There is alot of other factors coming into play as well (as some are finding out). I'm believing that most failures start from slight (or more) predetonation (rods in an off angle) instead of the detonation starting when the rod is at it's strongest point.

i vote for tts rods, they are readily available and will hold multiple 10 sec passes to date a a whole shart load of nosssssssssssssss

I think the election is next month. Will Crower be on the ballot?

I think many miss the boat. Diesel Fuel is like slow burn gun powder and meth/water/propane is like fast burn powder. Some powders hit real hard and burn very quickly. Some powders hit hard and burn slowly, using the cylinder to produce speed. If you mix the two powders.......look out for that hard kick, it'll crack something.:stab:

Torque is made from the AVERAGE pressure differential between compression stroke and the power stroke. Carnage is made from the peak pressure.

So the trick to keeping it together is to minimize the peak pressure, yet maximize the average difference.

I believe nitrous, meth, and pane are all accelerants which increase peak pressure at a higher rate than they increase average differential, and this is why we see 600HP engines blow up on drugs, yet 650+ #2 engines survive.

Time will tell. Nitrous is cheap HP unless you need $6000 worth of "hard parts" to run it.

just putting out my 2 cents, every one is able to have an opinion....not taking anything away from other suppliers of a product just what works for us

i soon will be a vendor for chinese built rods. $300 a set!!!! any takers???:evil
