Rods

I have seen the far left rods in 24V's also. Not a surprise at all. Get of my case.:hehe:

Ever wonder why 4340 rods dont come with cracked caps? Because you would have a bent up mess as that alloy will not fail in a manner that would leave useful parts.

second hand info, but...

Brazil, England, and USA are near the top in strength
China is the worst

Where are the mexican rods on the VP chart?

A notch above the China's?
 
i have a set of rods that look like the ones on the left with the england stamped on them for sale if anyone wants them. also have a set stamped with brazil but might have a use for them already unless someone makes me a good deal for them.
 
do you got a pic of your bent rod, I never got too see it yet. Havent talked to ya at any pulls since barraboo
 
the mexicans in my dodge took off and never came back and left me with all kinds of work to do :hehe: :hehe: I crack myself up
 
All of the vp rods I have seen have the counter wieghts on them. I even have a 03 cr motor that has Mexico machine rods in it and they are the counter wieghted rods.
