some thoughts

none of these roots style blowers start to make any serious boost untill higher rpms,

from what i have read roots blowers work better down low better than up high in the rpm range

from my exp higher compression and slower blower drive speeds gives more low end. and less comp and higher drive speeds gives more top end. if you have a turbo feeding the blower and you have a charge air cooler between the two i would think that would cool down the air inside the blower enough. if it dosent you can always spray a little water in between the turbo and the blower.
