Which S-300 should I use with a K-31? Does the 62 run out of air too fast with a 14cm housing?

All the air that your system will recieve will come through the K-31. Obviously the 14cm exh housing will dictate the mapped pressure that will be produced by the S300, that is compounded before the engine. The larger of inducer on the S300, will allow more air "volume" through from the K-31, and that all depends on the pressure that it is being fed and the density of the charge being produced by it. Turbo's are fun aren't they!:charger:

I've run the k31 with a 35/40 hybrid, 57/65/.7 s300, 62/65/.7 s300, 62/71/.8 s300, 64/71/13, 64/71/16, and 64/71/.8. pm me if you have a specific question.

Wow, that is alot of combo's. Which was your favorite?

I would say a 62/71 .8 or .9 would work very well.

Thanks for all the replies, im shooting for 700hp, is that feasable the K-31? Would I ok at 700hp with just o-rings and 12mm studs?

Id like to see 800hp, but don't think o-rings and 12mm studs would survive it.
What would I need for 800hp? K-31 and a 66?

Start by defining your acceptable smoke level and willingness to deal with turbo lag. It is streetable depending on who you ask.

If you're willing to deal with lag and smoke, just run a S400 with a 74-76mm compressor wheel as a single. It will be laggy, make lots of smoke, and put out the 700 HP you seek for the very narrow power band between 3000 and 3200 rpm.

That's a whole 200 r's of power!
