im not really understanding what is the big difference in the bw s300 and s400. i know the s400 has a bigger shaft. the reason i ask, is because im in a pickle for running a big single on my 2001 cummins. i cant decide on a s366 73 .91 a/r with t4 flange. or to run a s467 t4 flange .91 a/r. the truck has custom 2016 quadzilla tunes, 7x13 injectors and soon to have hamilton 188/220 cam

With the inherent fueling limitations of the factory injection pump on a 2001, I'd lean toward a turbo that spools quickly to take advantage of the lower RPM range fueling capabilities of the VP44 pump. In short, I'd recommend the S300 frame sized turbo over the S400. If you want maximum flow, step up to the 369sxe, the lag is so close to the same as the 366sxe, you might as well get the extra power. Once again, with the RPM/fueling limitations of your truck, I'd go with a .80ar T3 gated housing for maximum spoolup.

These videos/testing were performed at high altitude on a stock head 12v with fixed timing so you should expect a little better spoolup and potentially better power numbers if your injector/Quad tuning are dialed-in.

Coming from a guy who has tried the BD spool valve.....ditch it.
They just seize up after awhile of driving...50% chance it seizes in the closed position, 50% chance it seizes in the open position.
Mine siezed twice, once in each position after a very short while, even after cleaning.
Smokey, laggy POS one way, extreme drive pressure the other.
I won't even sell mine, because I'd hate for it to ruin someone else's day. (Headgaskets, etc.)

Thanks guys for the response and that saved me money! With my size injectors 7x13. Do you think my egts will be in control with a s366 or 369 axe with a .81 a/r???? T3 also?
