lookin for the biggest single i could spool with a vp.so pump,tst/smarty,mach 7 inj,port polish,cam,big lines,maby fly cut pistons and bigger valves. aney sugestins
 
I bet you would have a darn good chance at an s400 but I dont know for sure because everybody big around here runs p-pumps.
 
S400 with a 1.0 housing or smaller.It maps very close to the GT42,speaking of which I have two broken 42's to sell with 1.28 housings.!
 
You can't get enough RPM to stay on top of it with a VP44. It won't be a daily driver because of smoke, it won't really be a sled puller because of RPM and it surely won't be a drag racer.
 
i just tried a II K31 71mm with a .87 A/R housing, i never got on top of it. thats with mach 6 injectors and a drag comp, its gets hot fast ot the street, smokes like hell and lites way to late, im putting my 66 back on.

Depends on the application. As stated in your other thread, please have your dad fill us in on how you'll be using the truck and how much you have to spend. This makes a big difference in how you setup the truck.
 
it is only going 2 be a sled puller and we dont really have a budget like 2 stay around 15000
