Saturday April 26th TS Outlaw Race/sled pull date

FYI everyone. The Best Western has rooms available. This hotel is across the street from the Ramada (which is booked solid).

Best Western's website shows no availability. I called the hotel direct and was able to book a room. They said 80 rooms were still vacant.

That's where I have been sending everyone since everything else is pretty much sold out. The Best Western is a great location too.

They are incase the mount at the frame for the traction bars breaks they keep the bar from digging into the ground and suddenly stopping the truck and possibly pogoing into the air.
 
haha alright just curious had never heard of this rule before. Itll be next on my list here in a day or two :)

i looked and looked and couldnt and any.

when the drags are over, then the pulls begin????
 
Well boys and girls, half of the Gumbo be done, got the stock made this weekend and it should make a big enough pot to feed about 100 folks. For those who remember the weather induced fiasco last year, all that has to be done this go around is start adding the goodies :evil Figure about 3lbs each of red and green bell peppers, same for some onion, couple cloves of garlic and a pot load of sausage and shrimp :D :D :D


Ohhh yeah, can't forget the okra, gotta have some okra! LOL
 
Shoulda been there when the stock was a simmering, bet I ate enough to gain 5lbs LOL LOL
 
Not sure about the TS events, but when the NHRA HOt Rod Reunion, NMRA World Finals or the NMCA events roll in to Bowling Green, the party and chit chat spots are at either Hobby Lobby, AutoZone, or around the Ramada and Best Western Hotels. The whole town gets pretty wild. Role up to a red light, look across, and there will usually be 2 cars lined up at the oppisit light ready to make a 1/4 mile pass on the street. Maybe it will be just as exciting this year. Kinda remind you of ORP or Terre Huate late at night, lol.
