Mic the discs. I'm betting they are too thick.
 
yep youre right! i just pulled the new one apart and just eyeballing it they are thinner than the old clutche's. and looking at the floater plate, the old one didnt sit in quite as far in the flywheel as this new one... guess i know what ill be doing this weekend lol!
 
does anyone know where i can get a sliding rear window for my 02 2500 Dodge Ram? i've looked around ...minimal success
 
also...anyone know where i can find a CUMMINS 5.9L 24 valve engine block..my buddy cracked his block and the JB is giving ..he needs a new block....

i finally got it finished up tonight! but the hydraulics Peter sent me have about 2 inches or so of soft ''springyness'' before it does anything to the clutch.. im going to swap a different set in tomorow night and see if i can adjust that out. but other than that, so far so good! that thing will grip and go lol! hopefully i can get all the bugs worked out tomorow night and go make some good test runs and see how she works. i think youll like this clutch
 
Got about 80 miles put on the truck tonight, and I'm really liking this clutch! How's yours coming along Natural?
 
Got about 150 on mine.....everything was cake man...thanks goodness! Had a little problem getting the dang crossmember back up in there. Mine decided to spring out about a 1" 1/2 wider thand the frame...:banghead: All I can say is wow.....holding power is nuts!

I love it!!
 
My crossmember has been out so much I finally stood it on one end and beat on it a little to make it bend inwards. Now all I have to do to get it back in is push it from behind the tranny mount forward. Every once in awhile I have to tap on it with a hammer to get it all the way in. So far I'm really liking mine also! I should have bought one of these awhile back
 
Yep....loving mine! How is the pedal pressure on yours......and idle clatter if any? Mine is quiet with little noise when engaged at idle. You have the lever or Dia plate?
 
Pedal pressure is just a hair stiffer than stock, I went with the diaphragm style and I don't have any clatter at all.
