Schedule of events for FASS Nationals

Thanks! That will work. Second question- the area allocated to the 'Pro Pits' is fenced off and partially covered by bleachers. (Google Maps overview) Is this intentional?

Yeah that Friday event is a really good local event, the Schmitt Memorial Race as already posted a couple posts back. It's kind of funny that it got postponed and moved to a day before Indy. With many showing up Friday night for saturday I wouldn't be surprised to see the Schmitt Race turn into a pre-Indy....

The NHRDA will be on hand to support this event, and also will be donating part of the proceeds from the FASS Diesel Nationals on June 6th to the Jeramy Schmitt Memorial Scholarship fund.

Here is a brief description on event from father Tim Schmitt
Jeramy was a senior at Cathedral high school a college prep school in Indianapolis Indiana. Jeramy died during football practice on Sept. 20 2005 in front of his team mates , coaches and his younger brother Josh a sophomore who also is a football player. This happend one day before his 16Th birthday.

Jeramy loved football but drag racing was his true passion. Every Tuesday night he would be at the street legal drags at O'reilly raceway park with his 98 ram 2500 diesel truck taking on his friends in there mustangs, corvettes, civics and most of the time he would beat them.

Josh and I decided since Jeramy loved diesel drag racing so much we would turn his truck into a pro street drag truck and keep his memory alive and also start a Scholarship so young people have the opportunity to get a great education.

We are asking everyone in the diesel community to come out and support this event and help out a great cause.

VERY COOL GUYS....Grand Rock will definatly be there Friday night to help promote this event as well. :cheer:
 
I guess the rain delay for the Schmitt's earlier time slot was a good thing now!
 
Why no 12.0 class??? Looks like trucks built for the typical 12.0 class will have to run sportsman ET just to even have a shot at placing. :(

Considering the class rules, it appears to be a big jump between the ET to Super Street trucks?

Well so far the average winner in Super Street this year has been trucks running mid 11's to low 12's.

Last year our truck won Division 1 Super Street running 12.20 because the fast trucks would always break before the finals
