Hi Guys. Me and some friends fellow diesel pullers, are trying to put a all diesel truck pull together here in western wisconsin in the fall of 2009. We were able to a have decent location thats not a problem. Big payouts are not the problem. I just don't want to have just a hand full of trucks turn out. I would like to see 30+ trucks in the 2.8 class and 15+ prostreet class. I know most of the guys at scheids and some of the other bigger pullers. Right now we are looking at probly 2 classes, 2.8 street mod and 3.0 prostreet. I don't think that would cause to much of a problem with most pullers. With two classes we could at have $1500.+ purses and back 8+ places. If we have the turn out. I'm starting this now to see if we can get this off the ground for next year. Let me know what you guys are thinking. ALSO this would probly be aound this time next year, most bigger events would be over and pullers will hopefully come up to our area to pull. Let me know. Thanks Brad

One thing to remember is... this time next year harvest around the midwest should be in full swing, unlike this year. This may affect your turn out a bit but I would be interested as long as the truck is still together at the end of next year.

Cool. I'd like to see a ton of trucks. I'd like to see as many out of state trucks to help support to event, And new faces.

You should do a Badger trucks against Fantasy trucks class.

Why not add in a 2.5/2.6 class(whatever you prefer to call it below the 2.8 and 3.0 class's)? They draw a crowd, they bring their friends, they are more readily available and they pay an entry fee like everyone else that usually contributes to bigger payouts in the larger charger class's.

Hey. I was thinking that the 2.6 would be a super class to add. What about just a 2.6 & 2.8 class or should a person put a 2.6 in as a three class pull and divide up the pay outs. Like a 1000. to win win each class. and only pay back like 5 places. I'm looking at the track in colfax,wi they have a huge parking lot and nice track and a great turn out at the local pulls. I'm in Elk mound,Wi. I've also looked maybe in the eau claire area. Also menomonie has a super track. Lets hear it

Also badger trucks and fantasy trucks would be great. I would like to see alot of new pullers in this area. We have some pretty bad ass trucks in this area. Also there will be a few new trucks this coming year, Plus my 98 12 valve.

is those places big enough to have 2 tracks if it gets to be a big turn out? and i can get you a number for a sled

I really hadn't planned on this big of a pull. I'm looking at having it around 12-maybe 1 in the afternoon. That would be probly done before 6 maybe 7 if we have turn out.

I would be up for a 2.6 class. Still DD my truck but have some fun too. By then will have all safety requirements covered. Still working on full driveshaft loops.

You have quite a few tracks in that area you may be able to get to -- Bloomer, Ellsworth, River Falls, Arkansaw, Menomonie, Osseo to name just a few.

Maybe three classes 2.6, 2.8 and 3.0 to get others like me there. I'd probably run in the 2.8 class if that's all you had, but makes it hard to really compete.

Paul

Hey Paul. This is Brad, Maroon 02 cummins. Good to hear from yea. Theres a good chance to having a 2.6 class. This should all come together this winter keep in touch, Bud If you want I have driveshaft hoops here.

Go with 2.6, 2.8 and 3.0. That is were a lot of trucks are. Like stated before, harvest dictates when a lot of guys could come out. But if the pay outs are nice, I could see a lot of us Indiana guys comming up. Always wanted to pull in WI anyway.

I can run this passed the guys around the eastern side of wi. and see what comes up (especially if there is a 2.6 class). When something is finalized let me know, i get some posters around some shops in the area.
