shift at 4k?

i have a 99 24v with a goerend 47re and im now fueling to 4k rpms. Any tricks to get my tranny to shift higher in the rpm range? its hard to get it to shift much past 3k..

or reworked vb, different springs to get you there, its all hydraulic till 4th

what all mods do you have done that you actually have a powerband that high?

cam, springs, twins, 7x12 injectors. it really seems to pull hard after 3k if i leave it in second till it hits 4 then bump into drive..

sounds like you need a real shifter

It has been awhile, but I believe in the 24V application goerend uses a 12V TV spring, you can put the stock 24V TV spring in and gain 250 rpm or so on the shift.

I had my 12V shifting at 3600 with a stock 24V TV spring and the cable set properly.
