Shifter knob NV4500

Does anyone know if the plastic knob is screwed on or pressed on and glued. If screwed on what is the size and thread?

Should be screw on. At least the newer ones are.

Not too sure on thread size. Maybe a 14x1.5? Hopefully someone can confirm that to make sure...

Pop the shift pattern "emblem" out and there is a nut underneath. You may be able to unscrew it by keeping constant "up" pressure on it while twisting.

The threads are 10mm, I think the pitch is 1.50. I bought a Hurst knob that was 3/8" thread and ran a 10mm tap in it. Worked fine.
