cody, a stock truck would do over 700 with as much nitrous as you were throwing at it

I dont recall seeing you at the event I did 848. I think 125hp shot of nitrous is a reasonable amount to throw at my motor.

Its not like I opened bottles on it again
 
Well I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks that some '05's were just put together right, I miss my late '05, the only reason I got rid of it is because it was 2wd, and really traction challenged. It ran better with just a programmer than my 555 with everything on it. :doh:
 
What kinda tinker toy dyno was that on? Dynocom? How'd you go from 684 to 810? Water gains would be much lower, I'd say your 684 run was more legit.
 
dude are you still doubting it? have you never seen anyone tune on a dyno with different settings. just because you dont make power dont mean you gotta hate on someone who does, plenty of people on this site have seen the truck make that power on a single turbo on several different occasions on a dynojet. get over it

DynoComs are know for throwing out high numbers. I remember a person the site made over 1K, then jumped on a dynojet and was a couple of hundred hp lower...... hmmm.... dynocom.... makes you wonder.

X2. I'm not hating dude, just saying I've been there done that pushed **** to its limits and 90hpstix with a 64 wont net you over 800. Thats just poppycock.:hehe:
 
hes done 800 on 90's a sps 64 with water on several dynojets...there will always be doubters no matter what. just because you couldnt tune your way to 800 doesnt mean he cant, there were lots of other mods done to this truck to get there. he may have had a 64/90's but it still made the power.




ive run really good times for my mods, when others with the same or even more mods have gone slower, does that mean my time slips are bs???
 
see whats getting me here is that i dont doubt its possible...anything is possible. but first its a 64 and 90's...then 64, 90's, cam, water/meth, springs, and porting. now your saying theres even more? do you see where im headed? thats a way bigger # than ive seen thrown down before, lets try and list ALL the mods!
 
all the major mods have been stated but everyone is getting hung up on the 64 and 90's
 
Hey everything bigger in texas I guess...I like how you say tune so much. Smarty and MP-8 doesn't take alot of tuning. I'm just saying those numbers are bs thats it. I saw 1 dyno sheet from what looked like a dynocom and that explains the whole story now. Thats all i'm saying, if it happened great I'm sure everything came together just right. But even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in awhile.

The largest Dyno Day event in Texas is in Buda, Tx at ART and the day I had the truck there to tune it it made 739 on fuel only and on a later run it made 794 with water/ meth mix from the the windsheild washer tank that was over three weeks old.

There is tuning that can be done with the Smarty and a Mp-8 we tried several different settings and percentages on the Mp-8, and found a sweet spot the best power was not made with the Mp-8 all the way up....We tuned it with the twins and made over 10 runs that were 900 plus.

The single turbo mentioned the SPS64 is on my truck now and still makes 650+ and 805 with a little spray on my 04.5 and has run a 12.6 with a soft launch and me letting out to early (not a big race veteren) .

When the 06' made all this power it had about everything we could do to make it effecent, with dual pump set -up the dual cp3 set up netted about 80 hp increase over a single Stage 2 setup, The injectors were supposed to be II 90hp but even they always said it made too much power for 90's and they must have been 120's but the truck didn't have outragous egt's either.
