Single wheeled truck running Dual wheels and tires for pulling

I am running 33x12.50s on mine with a 1.5 inch spacer. There is just barely any room between them, but it works just fine. I wish I would have bought the 2 inch spacers the first time though. If you go with a 1.5 inch spacer you will have to grind about 1/2inch of material off of the wheelstuds to allow the outter wheel to mount up flush. Other wise the wheel studs stick out past the spacer.

Yeah I know, its gay to have to cut the lug nuts.

so no spacer behind the first wheel then? just between the 2

ya he was running no spacer behind the first wheel and then a 3" spacer between the 2 wheels... but he didnt have the calipers on (which made it not able to pull legally) .. since they wouldnt fit in the wheels... he put a drum brake axle under it and from what i heard, put a spacer behind the first wheel and no spacer between the 2.... i dont know what his plans are now...

im gonna try it...i have 16.5" dually wheels now, not sure if they will clear calipers or not. i will give is a shot this week when i get some free time

ok tried them out, they dont fit over the caliper, so i would have to remove them.

the backspacing on 16.5x6.75 dually wheels may be different than stock 16's but i can put them on my disc brake rear with 33x12.50x16.5 tires no spacer behind the first wheel and no spacer between the wheels. this is all without removing or trimming the inner fender liner.

I think thats why most guys run a set of 17" dually rims off a 3rd gen.

i already have 16.5 tires and wheels now, i will do whatever i need to run the 16.5's
